HDFC Mutual Fund announces changes in HDFC Liquid Fund

HDFC Mutual has decided to carry out the following changes to HDFC Liquid Fund, open-ended liquid income scheme with effect from 11 May 2012.

A. Discontinuation of weekly dividend option under HDFC Liquid Fund-Premium Plus Plan: The weekly dividend option with payout and reinvestment facility under HDFC Liquid Fund-Premium Plus Plan will stand discontinued from the effective date. There are currently no unit holders under this option. Further, no fresh purchases/additional purchases/switch-in(s) shall be accepted under this option with immediate effect. Accordingly, after discontinuation of the weekly dividend option, HDFC Liquid Fund-Premium Plus Plan will offer growth option only.

B. Change in minimum application amount under HDFC Liquid Fund-Premium Plus Plan: The minimum application amount for purchase/switch-in under HDFC Liquid Fund-Premium Plus Plan will stand revised as under from the effective date:

Purchase: Rs 1,00,00,000 and any amount thereafter.
